Honestly

Scrolling won’t make you smarter. A five-minute lesson will.

We’re not asking you to delete social media. Just give the same five minutes to something that stays with you.

How it works

From “huh, interesting” to “got it” in four steps

01

Pick a topic

Your home screen is full of ready-made courses and card sets picked for your interests. Don’t see your topic? Name it, and UCHU builds a course in a minute.

02

Follow the map

A course is a path of islands. Each lesson takes about five minutes: in a queue, on the bus, instead of one more video.

03

Take a lesson

A lesson is a few short screens you get through in about five minutes. Not in the mood to read? Turn on listen mode. Want it to stick? Check yourself at the end.

04

Check the facts

While a course builds, UCHU finds sources on the web and fact-checks against them. The links sit right in the lesson, so you can open and verify any fact.

Today’s set

One minute that leaves you knowing more

Every day UCHU puts together five cards around your interests: a fact, a quote, a quiz, true or false, and “two truths and a lie”. For days with no time for a whole lesson.

Here’s an example set. Swipe through it - it takes a minute.

Companions

A buddy, not a warden

Pick a character to keep you company through the course. It celebrates your wins and never scolds.

A lesson in five minutes? You’re on a roll!

Why not just ask a chatbot?

You can. It gives you a wall of text and leaves the rest to you. UCHU does the other half of the job.

FAQ

The short version

Didn’t find an answer? Ask on Telegram.

What is UCHU?
An app with short courses and card sets on all kinds of topics - from psychology and money to history and space. A lesson takes about five minutes and comes with practice and links to sources. If your topic isn’t there, just name it - UCHU builds a course in a minute.
How is this different from asking a chatbot?
A chatbot gives you a wall of text and leaves the rest to you. UCHU breaks the topic into lessons in the right order, checks you with practice after each one, shows its sources and remembers where you stopped.
Is it really free?
Yes, UCHU is a free app: download it from the App Store or RuStore and start right away.
Can I trust what the AI writes?
While a course is being built, UCHU searches the web for sources, relies on them and puts the links right into the lesson. AI can still make mistakes, so you can open any fact and double-check it. Found an error? Tell us on Telegram.
What topics can I learn?
Anything: from psychology, money and history to programming, medicine and interview prep. Phrase it however you like - “why do cats purr” works too.
Will I get guilt-tripped if I skip a day?
No. Streak freezes save your streak, and the mascot cheers you on instead of scolding. Come back whenever it suits you - the lesson will wait.
Which devices does UCHU run on?
iPhone via the App Store and Android via RuStore. A Google Play version is in development.
Is UCHU suitable for kids?
Short lessons and the game-like format work well for teens. Younger kids should use it with an adult: courses are built by AI and nobody reviews them by hand.
